Pozo Colorado is a town in the Santa Cruz Department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Pozo Colorado is the third largest town in the Ayacucho canton in the Porongo municipality in the Andrés Ibáñez province . The village is located at an altitude of 528  m five kilometers north and west of the Río Piraí .

Pozo Colorado has a semi- humid humid tropical climate with little day and night fluctuations in temperatures.
