Western White House

The term Western White House is used in the United States , based on the White House, for the additional, privately owned residences of the respective President of the United States , which, like Camp David, are occasionally used on state visits.
Numerous presidents had such a residence. B. Ronald Reagan with his Rancho del Cielo near Santa Barbara (California) , where he spent much of his presidency. Most recently the term was used frequently for the Prairie Chapel Ranch by George W. Bush in McLennan County , Texas .
