Off to new shores is a German television film by Joseph Orr from 2019 . It is the sixth film in the ARD series Praxis with a Sea View with Tanja Wedhorn as the doctor Nora Kaminski in the lead role. The German first broadcast took place on March 22, 2019 on the ARD slot "Finally Friday in the First".

Nora Kaminski, the doctor without a doctorate , is looking for a competent successor for her practice partner Richard Freese, who died in an accident. She actually wants Sister Mandy back, but she wants to make a career. Nora Kaminski doesn't like the applicants for the vacancy at all. When the Swiss colleague Dr. Hannes Stresow applies for the position, she has doubts about its credibility, because why should such a renowned doctor want to work under her. But Stresow can explain to her in a personal conversation that he is serious about his interest in the position and can finally convince Kaminski by ultimately getting the acceptance of his application. In addition to looking for a new partner, Kaminski has to take care of the baker Annett Siggelkow's injured knee. In her private life, Nora Kaminski has to deal with her ex-husband Peer, who finds interest in his ex-wife again, something that does not go unnoticed to her but not to her son Kai.
