Prayon (formerly Prayon-Rupel ) is a Belgian chemical company in the field of phosphate chemistry . It is held in equal shares by the Moroccan OCP and the Société Régionale d'Investissement de Wallonie .

Prayon is the world's largest producer of phosphoric acid with a 50% market share . The Central Prayon procedure is used for this.

Other products include A. Sodium dithionite , ammonium phosphate , sodium orthophosphate , sodium tripolyphosphate , monopotassium phosphate , sodium fluoride , sodium and potassium hexafluorosilicate and monoammonium phosphate (MAP). The 50% subsidiary Silox produces the white pigment zinc oxide and sulfur dioxide as preservatives. It also includes the SNCZ, based in Bouchain , which produces anti-corrosion pigments based on zinc phosphate and strontium chromate .
