The Predigtstuhl , often also called Predigtstein , is a 2234 meter high mountain on the south side of the Wetterstein Mountains in the Austrian state of Tyrol . It lies below the Hochwanner , the second highest mountain in Germany, and can be reached via the Gaistal from Leutasch , over which it offers one of the best views. There are access options from the east via the Rotmoosalm or from the west via the Steinerne Hüttl . The summit ascent is partially exposed and includes easy climbs up UIAA I .
