Prietzen is a district of the municipality of Havelaue in the Havelland district in Brandenburg .
The village is located on the southeast corner of about 660 ha large Gülper lake . The HVL 31 runs through the village, the B 102 runs to the east .
On May 1st, 1974 Prietzen was incorporated into Wolsier . Since Wolsier was incorporated on December 31, 2001, Prietzen has belonged to the municipality of Havelaue.
In the list of architectural monuments in Havelaue , two architectural monuments are listed for Prietzen :
- the village church in the center of the village
- the post mill on the southeast corner of the Gülper See
Sons and daughters
- Günter Mangelsdorf (1947–2008), prehistoric and medieval archaeologist, worked from 1992 to 2004 as a full professor at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald
