The Prix Charles Delaunay is a jazz prize that was awarded by the Académie du Jazz to the best book publication on jazz ( prix du meilleur livre traitant du jazz ) from 1985 onwards . After the prize was initially known as Le Prix du Livre de Jazz , it received the title Prix Charles Delaunay after the death of long-standing jury member Charles Delaunay in 1988 . From 2010 they returned to the old title.
