Pro Ludo is a German distributor and publisher for games .

history

It was founded in 1996 in Constance by owner Uwe Walentin. On September 1, 2006, the private company changes its name to Pro Ludo GmbH. In 2008, founder Uwe Walentin handed over the management. Pro Ludo GmbH became a subsidiary of Asmodee GmbH and also took over its name. Pro Ludo was best known for selling the games The Werewolves of Mirkwood (Lui-Même) and Step by Step ( Days of Wonder ), which won the 2004 Game of the Year award.
