The province of Capitán Prat is the southernmost of the four provinces in the Región de Aisén . With 3837 inhabitants, it is one of the poorest provinces in Chile . It is named after the Chilean sea hero Arturo Prat . The province consists of the following three municipalities, the administrative center of Cochrane , O'Higgins and Tortel .
