Psyclone in Six Flags Magic Mountain ( Valencia , California , USA ) was a wooden roller coaster made by Dinn Corporation and designed by Curtis D. Dummers .

It was in operation for a little over 18 years from its opening on March 23, 1991 to its closure in 2006 and subsequent demolition. The Apocalypse wooden roller coaster opened at the same location on May 23, 2009 .

The layout of the track should be reminiscent of the legendary Cyclone on Coney Island . Her attractions were eleven hills, five inclined high-speed curves and a 56 m long black tunnel.

Trains

Psyclone owned two trains from the manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard , each with six cars. Four people (two rows of two people) could sit in each car. It was the only wooden roller coaster whose trains (each weighing around 2.3 t) were manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard.
