Puerto Ballivián is a town in the Beni department in the Amazon lowlands of the South American landlocked state of Bolivia .

Puerto Ballivián is a town in the municipality of Trinidad in the province of Cercado . The municipality is located at an altitude of 155 m on the right, eastern bank of the Río Ibare , which flows 28 kilometers downstream into the Río Mamoré .

Puerto Ballivián is located eleven kilometers by road northwest of Trinidad , the capital of the department.
Trinidad intersection point is the national state highways Ruta 3 and Route 9 . The Ruta 9 crosses the entire Bolivian lowlands from north to south and leads from Trinidad to the metropolis of Santa Cruz, 477 kilometers south, and on to the Argentine border; The Ruta 3 leads west into the Bolivian highlands to La Paz . The road to Puerto Ballivián leaves the city center of Trinidad in a north-westerly direction and leads past the airport in the direction of Loma Suárez . After eight kilometers a road turns west and reaches Puerto Ballivián after another three kilometers.
