course

The Ibare rises at an altitude of 195  m, fifty kilometers south-southwest of the central town of Ascención de Guarayos , which is on the Ruta 9 trunk road . It flows in innumerable meanders on the first 500 kilometers in a north-westerly direction, on the last almost 100 kilometers largely in a northerly direction. After a total of 592 kilometers, it flows into the Río Mamoré twenty kilometers northwest of the city of Trinidad , 862 kilometers before it joins the Río Beni to form the Rio Madeira .

In its course, the Río Ibare is only crossed by bridges in two places, namely by the Ruta 3 highway at Puerto Almacén near Trinidad , and by a road between the villages of Villa Alba and Loreto .
