Punta Bajos ( Spanish ) is a headland on Dundee Island in the Joinville Islands archipelago off the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms the western extension of the Welchness headland between Petrel Cove and Active Sound .
The name of the headland is first recorded on an Argentine map from 1957.
