The Punta Minuta is a 2556 m high mountain in Corsica . It is located in the northern part of the Grande Barrière between Monte Cinto in the northeast and the Paglia Orba (2525 m) in the south. In the north is the municipality of Asco ( Corsican Ascu) in the Asco valley and to the south the valley of the Golo river . The GR long-distance hiking trail GR 20 leads along the western flank. The closest refuge is the Refuge de l'Erco east of Monte Cinto.
