Erik John Fellows (born October 2, 1981 in Silver Spring , Maryland ) is an American model with Italian and Swedish roots. He also works as an actor.

Life

Born in 1981 in Silver Spring , Maryland , the Fellows grew up in his home state and attended high school there, where he was active on the school's basketball team, among other things. This was the further career path that Fellows, whose greatest dream was to play in the NBA , wanted to pursue after his high school days. However, when he sustained an injury, this dream broke, which in turn prompted Fellows to look for a new job for his future. He came to New York at the age of 18 and 19 after a friend who knew an agent pointed out that he was the right look for a modeling career. This was finally the beginning of the modeling career of the young fellow, who today (as of January 2011) is employed by the Californian model agency Bleu Models and is regularly booked by various well-known brands, companies, etc. Through his modeling career, he finally found his way to acting, with his first notable film appearance in 2006 when he starred in the horror film Mustang Sally at the side of Elizabeth Daily , Lindsey Labrum , Mark Parrish etc.

After that, Fellows, who took acting classes in Los Angeles and New York City and also received private lessons from Howard Fine, appeared in a number of other B-movies. After it was used in an episode of CSI: NY in 2007 , these were, among others, the films Monster Mountain (2008), Rounds (2008), Road to Moloch (2009) and American Cowslip (2009), where he was in the latter film was seen at the side of acting great Val Kilmer . In 2009 he was finally brought into the cast of the long-term soap opera Zeit der Sehnsucht and initially only used in a few episodes. This was followed by a longer engagement of fellows, who, however, was not offered a long-term contract by the creators of the series and left the cast in 2010 after a total of 24 completed episodes. This was followed in the same year by an appearance in an episode of the television series Navy CIS: LA and engagements in the two films The Gift Horse and The List , both of which are due to be released in 2011.

Furthermore, in his career so far, Fellows has worked closely with several internationally known musicians, with whom he was also featured in some of their music videos. He worked with the band Buckcherry in their music video for the single Don't Go Away and was also seen alongside Jennifer Lopez in the video for Me Haces Falta . He had other engagements with Lindsay Lohans Rumors , Didos Sand in My Shoes and in Katharine McPhee Love Story . The actor agency that Fellows is currently (as of January 2011) engaged in is the Abrams Artists Agency , which has both offices in Los Angeles and New York City.
