Punta Nazar (in Argentina Punta Ejército from Spanish ejército 'army' ) is a headland on the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located as an extension of the Red Rock Ridge at the northwest end of the Gabriel Peninsula and borders the entrance to the Neny Fjord to the south . Upstream of the headland is Gremlin Island .
Chilean scientists named it after Salvador Nazar, a participant in the 5th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1950–1951) to rebuild the Bernardo O'Higgins station .
