Punta Rojas ( Spanish ) is a headland on the southeast coast of the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the north-eastern limit of the entrance from the Gerlache Strait to Avicenna Bay , southwest of Cape d'Ursel .
Scientists of the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947) named it after Gabriel Rojas Parker, captain of the Angamos on this research trip .
