Punta Seaver ( Spanish ) is a headland on the east coast of Renaud Island in the Biscoe Islands archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the northern limit of the entrance to Zubov Bay . In front of it are the meadow islands .
Argentine scientists named it after the Argentine minesweeper Seaver , one of the ships in the Argentine Antarctic expedition that ran from 1947 to 1948.
