Punto Azul was an Equatorial Guinean airline based in Malabo and based at Malabo Airport .
history
Punto Azul was founded in 2010. In May 2015, it ceased flight operations until further notice, but after a restructuring it should be resumed.
After initially aiming to resume flight operations with the ATR 72-600 leased from the Austrian company InterSky , the company ceased operations again in 2016; The Equatorial Guinean Aviation Authority finally revoked the Punto Azul's air operator certificate .
Destinations
Punto Azul operated scheduled and private charter flights for the oil and gas industry in Equatorial Guinea and the surrounding countries. Like all airlines in the country, it is currently on the list of operating bans for the airspace of the European Union .
