Pure Soundart was a Swiss rock band and was founded in 2005 by Dominique Marcel Iten, Fabian Müller and Daniel Betschart. It broke up in 2010.

After initial demos and tours through Switzerland, the band signed a record deal with the English record label Lockjaw Records in 2008 . Shortly afterwards, the EP Emo Is Dead was released. Tours followed through Switzerland, Austria , Germany , Belgium , the Netherlands , England and Wales .

In summer 2008 the band started work on their debut album together with the two producers Rob Viso and Roger Hofmann , which were finished in spring 2009. In order to be able to play the music live, multi-instrumentalist Jonas Schwab was added to the line-up .

In November 2009 the debut album Bye Bye Beauty was released in England, in December in Switzerland and in January 2010 in Germany, Austria, France and Scandinavia. It is a concept album about tragic events in the life of the band head Dominique Marcel Iten. It received a lot of positive reviews.

The band broke up in 2010 because with Bye Bye Beauty and the remix album, Pure Soundart's artistic goal was achieved.
