history

The manuscript was originally in the episcopal library in Trento and came to the court library in Vienna in 1805/06 (Cod. 1185). As a result of the lost World War I , it had to be given to Italy in 1919 and ended up in the Castello del Buonconsiglio in Trento. At that time it was also given a new cover. Two sheets of the manuscript were taken out as early as the 18th century and found in other libraries: one sheet is now in the library of Trinity College in Dublin , call number MS 1709 (Matthew 13, 12-23), another (Matthew 14, 11 –22) in the British Library in London .
