The hippolytidae got their name because some species from this group fish of parasites liberate other species in this group have a marbled Tarnfärbung. Cleaner and marble shrimp live in all tropical , subtropical and temperate oceans , mostly in caves, crevices or under coral overhangs .

The prawns of the genera Thor , Saron and Lysmata are popular with marine aquarists because they look pretty and are easy to keep.
