The Qandyssu ( Kazakh Қандысу ) is a tributary of Lake Saissan in eastern Kazakhstan .

The river is located in the Saissan and Tarbaghatai administrative districts . The Qandyssu has its source in the Shilikti Depression . It flows in a westerly direction through the depression. The Qandyssu passes the place Saryöleng (Сарыөлең), where it takes up the Tersairyq from the left. Shortly afterwards it is dammed by the Qandyssu dam . Later it flows past the place Aqshar . Its mouth lies on the south bank of the Saissansee, which is drained by the Irtysh . The Qandyssu has a length of 121 km. It drains an area of ​​4640 km².
