Quadrant Europe

location
The area is located on the Italian motorways A22 or Brenner motorway (Italian: Autostrada del Brennero ) and A4 or Serenissima (= Venice's nickname), as well as the Milan – Venice railway line and the Brenner railway (Italian: Ferrovia del Brennero). The area is located in the southwest of Verona between the railroad crossing and the motorway crossing. The intersecting intersections form a square that gives the name (quadrant) for today's commercial and traffic center, which is primarily noticeable through the huge green wholesale market hall (730 m × 182 m).
Nearby is located Verona airport -Villafranca (Valerio Catullo). This is where goods traffic crosses from Northern Europe over the Brenner Pass to Italy and from Spain and France to the Balkan region .

Around 100 companies with over 4500 employees have settled in this intermodal logistics and service center. Around 30% of Italian and around 50% of international goods transport to and from Italy (2006) go through the Verona freight center. Logistics center
The area of the logistics center covers approx. 220,000 m², 150,000 m² of which belong to the Volkswagen Group Italia , with the branches for Italy of Volkswagen , Audi , Škoda and Seat . Volkswagen Group Italia has built offices, exhibition salons, a canteen for employees, a training center and a large spare parts center.
Railway zone
In the railway zone there is an intermodal terminal with twelve tracks, a through terminal with three tracks and another terminal with five tracks.
Fruit and vegetable wholesale market
The fruit and vegetable wholesale market VeronaMercato to the south of it occupies an area of around 550,000 m². Fruit and vegetables, fish and flowers as well as agricultural products are traded here; Various service providers are also located here.
