querkraft architects is an architecture firm founded in Vienna in 1998 . The office currently employs around 40 people.

history

The architecture office was founded by the architects Jakob Dunkl, Gerd Erhartt, Peter Sapp and Michael Zinner in 1998. In 2004 Michael Zinner left the office. Querkraft has been based in the former stock exchange since 2014 , where they have redesigned a disused technical room into their office.

ARTE "My City / Ma ville"

In September 2013, the Franco-German TV broadcaster broadcast the first episode of “Meine Stadt / Ma Ville”. In each episode, Jakob Dunkl travels to European cities and regions with a television team. Discussions and tours with architects, users and clients will be shown. In 2016, further episodes of the architecture documentation were broadcast. Cities visited were Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bordeaux, the Ruhr area, Cologne, Copenhagen, Luxembourg, Lyon, Nantes and Munich.
