Quisseque is a municipality in Angola .

history

Former fortifications of the Portuguese colonial administration had long since been abandoned when Quisseque was re-established as a trading post in 1954. In 1969 it became an administrative post in Negage County .

Quisseque is a municipality (Comuna) in the district ( Município ) of Negage , in the province of Uíge . The municipality covers an area of ​​501 km² with 21,954 inhabitants (extrapolated estimate 2013). From now on, the 2014 census should provide reliable population data.

In the municipality there are a total of eight localities ( Aldeias ), which are divided into two Regedorias , the traditional administrative districts of Angola.
