Qvenildnova ( Norwegian ) is a rocky outcrop in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Kottas Mountains , it looms in Helsetskarvet .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1985 after Arne Qvenild (1909–1984), a resistance fighter against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
