Réginald Frédéric Beaufoy Storms (* 13. September 1880 in Oorbeek , † unknown) was a Belgian sport shooter and tennis player .

successes

Réginald Storms participated in the 1908 Olympic Games in London in two competitions. In the individual competition with the free pistol he achieved the second-best result of the competition after Paul van Asbroeck with 487 points and thus won the silver medal ahead of third-placed James Gorman . In the team competition he also took second place together with Paul van Asbroeck, Charles Paumier du Verger and René Englebert . With 1863 points, the Belgians held their ground against the British team, while the US team won the competition. Storms was the team's second best shooter with 477 points. In 1907 Storms became world champion in the team competition with the free pistol in Zurich . The following year he finished second with the team in Vienna .

He was married to tennis player Marie Storms , who took part in the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 and in Paris in 1924 . Storms himself was also active as a tennis player.
