Gottfried Wenzelburger (born February 7, 1914 ; † unknown) was a German football player .

Wenzelburger belonged to VfL Neckarau as a midfielder , for whom he initially played point games from 1933 to 1945 in the Gauliga Baden , one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Reich . As third he reached with his club in the season 1934/35 the best up to then, as ninth in the season 1938/39 the worst placement.

In the Gauliga Baden, which was held in three groups, he and his team took fourth place out of six participating teams in the North Baden group in 1939/40 and barely escaped relegation to the second-rate Baden district league. He achieved his greatest success with his team in the following season with the Gaume Championship, which was won with two points ahead of VfB Mühlburg . As a result, he took part with VfL Neckarau for the only time in the final round of the German championship . In the competition, which was held in four groups, two of which were in subgroups, it was used in all Group 4 games. He made his debut on April 13, 1941 in Mannheim in the 7-0 defeat against SK Rapid Vienna ; he scored his only goal on May 18, 1941 in a 5-3 victory over the Stuttgarter Kickers with the hit to 3: 3 in the 75th minute.
