The Río Jamboé is a 34 km long right tributary of the Río Zamora in the province of Zamora Chinchipe in southeast Ecuador .

River course

The Río Jamboé rises on the eastern flank of the Cordillera Real at an altitude of about 3000  m . The Río Jamboé initially flows 10 km to the northeast and turns north on the rest of the river. Finally, about 2 kilometers northeast of the city center of Zamora, it reaches the Río Zamora, which flows northeast. The Río Bombuscaro runs 2 kilometers to the west, separated by a ridge .

The Río Jamboé drains an area of ​​238 km² in the eastern foothills of the Cordillera Real in southeast Ecuador.
