The Río Matucaré is a right tributary of the Río Mamoré and flows through the Moxos plain in the Beni department in Bolivia .

The Matucaré rises at a height of 138  m, fifty kilometers southwest of the rural town of San Ramón , which is on the Ruta 9 highway . It flows largely in a northerly direction in innumerable meanders and turns to the west on its last seven kilometers. After a total of about 200 kilometers it flows into the Río Mamoré in the immediate vicinity of the village of Puerto Siles .

In its course, the Matucaré in the province of Mamoré crosses the municipality of San Joaquín in a south-north direction , the river only passes through the municipality of Puerto Siles on its last nine kilometers . The region between the Río Mamoré in the west and Ruta 9 in the east and north is largely deserted.
