Puerto Siles is a town in the Beni department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Puerto Siles is the central place of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Puerto Siles in the province of Mamoré and is located at an altitude of 138 m at the mouth of the Río Matucaré on the right, eastern bank of the Río Mamoré , which is 436 kilometers downstream with the Río Beni united to the Rio Madeira . A few kilometers west of the village on the opposite side of the river is the Laguna Las Habras , a natural lake ten kilometers long and eight kilometers wide.
