Mehmet Yurdadön

Mehmet Yurdadön (born June 2, 1954 ) is a former Turkish long-distance runner .

In 1981 he won together with his compatriot Mehmet Terzi at the premiere of the 25 km from Berlin . In 1982 he set Turkish records over 5000 m (13: 33.70 min) as well as over 10,000 meter run (28: 35.06 min), which so far only Zeki Öztürk beats in 1990 and 1995 (status at the beginning 2008).

He set his best time over the marathon distance in 1984 with 2:16:09 h at the Frankfurt Marathon . In the same year he won the Darmstadt city run . Four times he was national champion over 10,000 m and once each over 5000 m and in the marathon. When Olympic marathon in 1984 he gave up.
