NS boys

The NS-Boys were one in Chemnitz based Hooligan - grouping , the followers of Chemnitzer FC were. The group was assigned to the extreme right .

history

The group was founded in 2004, initially as a junior group of the Ultras Chemnitz 99. The "NS" stands for "New Society". The abbreviation was not chosen by chance: its members were made up of representatives of the neo-Nazi scene and positioned themselves against the alleged left-wing extremism in German football. The group used a Hitler Youth from a propaganda poster from the 1930s as their logo .

The group was organized like a comradeship , took part in right-wing marches and eyewitness lectures. It has had a stadium ban since the beginning of 2006 . Shortly afterwards it was dissolved by the Ultras Chemnitz 99 because they "brought far too much politics into play, which was not compatible with [their] philosophy".

The group was founded again. Although it was still in contact with the Ultras Chemnitz 99, it was an independently operating group. An existing link from the Ultra page to the NS-Boys 2008 was discussed by Johannes Kopp in the taz and in the Frankfurter Rundschau , but was removed again shortly afterwards. At that time the group consisted of about 20 people according to their own information. Chemnitzer FC distances itself from the group. Due to the stadium ban, its members assign themselves to other hooligan groups such as Kaotic Chemnitz and Squadra Celeste. Despite the stadium ban, she was still active as a hooligan group and also attended games by other clubs. She also used joint excursions for ideological training. In 2012, for example, on the sidelines of a game in Dortmund, she visited the Wewelsburg , which was a place of worship for the SS during National Socialism . The leader and lead singer of the group, Chris Junghänel, works in the shop of the former Chemnitz player Kevin Vietz, who participated in racist attacks against the dark-skinned dynamo player Mickaël Poté and was therefore dismissed from the club. On March 28, 2014, during a house search of the clubhouse of the now banned Comradeship National Socialists Chemnitz, a fence flag of the NS boys was found. There is also contact to the right-wing independent label PC Records , which sponsored jerseys for self-organized ultra-football tournaments.

In 2017, members of the NS-Boys acted as masterminds in violent riots at the regional league derby of SV Babelsberg 03 against Energie Cottbus , where anti-Semitic, anti-gypsy and right-wing extremist slogans were shouted and the Nazi salute was shown several times . In addition, the field was stormed. A total of 19 criminal charges were filed.

The hooligan group has been observed by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution since 2012 . There was some personal overlap with the now banned Nationale Sozialisten Chemnitz (NSC) group. A high-ranking member of the NSC is said to have also been a founding member of the NS-Boys, as stated in a report by journalist Jens Eumann for the second NSU investigative committee of the Bundestag. There is further overlap with the Pegida offshoot Cegida, about 10 members are, according to police, members of the two associations. Members of the group were involved in the riots in Chemnitz in 2018 .

On April 20, 2019, the hooligan group declared its self-dissolution.
