history

The Bavarian cadastre shows Röckersbühl in the 1810s as a church village with several dozen hearths. The farm areas of the individual farms were, however, in part rather sparse, probably heavily sprawled due to inheritance.

Before the municipal reform of the 1970s , Röckersbühl was an independent municipality with an area of 1083 hectares, consisting of the places Röckersbühl, Dippenricht , Mittelricht , Neuricht and Wolfsricht . On January 1, 1972, it was voluntarily merged with the municipality of Berngau. The last mayor of Röckersbühl was Josef Blank.
