The Roman Catholic Church in New Zealand is part of the Roman Catholic Church worldwide .

The Catholic Church in New Zealand has about 470,000 Catholic Christians (as of 2005); Text in italics means that 12% of New Zealand's population are baptized Catholics. There are 530 priests and 1200 men and women serving the Church in the six dioceses of New Zealand. New Zealand consists of a church province , Wellington , with the metropolitan seat of the same name.
