Rötger Belke-Grobe

Rötger Belke-Grobe (born August 27, 1940 in Wuppertal ; † August 17, 2007 ) was a German farmer, entrepreneur and local politician.

Life

Belke-Grobe first attended the advanced high school in Schmallenberg. An agricultural apprenticeship followed and he passed the master's examination . He then studied at the Soest Agricultural Engineering School with a degree in agricultural engineering.

Belke-Grobe came from the Schmallenberg district of Holthausen and belonged to the CDU. In 1969, he became a community representative in Oberkirchen and, after the local reorganization, city ​​representative in Schmallenberg . In 1979 he was elected to the district assembly of the Hochsauerlandkreis . From 1989 to 1994 Belke-Grobe was mayor of Schmallenberg and since 1994 a member of the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Assembly . In 2004 he became second deputy chairman of the so-called Westphalia parliament.

In the meantime, Belke-Grobe became CEO of Milchwerke Köln / Wuppertal (MKW, Tuffi) until it merged with FrieslandCampina Germany . Afterwards he was a member of the board of directors and supervisory board of FrieslandCampina. In addition, it was chairman of Vieh und Fleisch Hochsauerland Süd eG until 1999.

On October 21, 1998, at the suggestion of Belke-Grobe, the Verein Milch & Kultur Rheinland Westfalen e. V., which he led as chairman until August 2007. He was also a founding member of the St. Georg Social Welfare Board of Trustees for the Westphalia-South division. He was chairman from 1994 to 1999. From 2001 to 2006 he was a member of the newly established board of trustees of the St. Georg Social Work Foundation.

On his initiative, the Holthausen Slate Mining and Local History Museum was established in 1975 . For 33 years he was the first chairman of the museum association and also the initiator of the Südwestfälische Galerie. Various publications by the Slate Mining and Local History Museum in Holthausen were created under his leadership.

He was married and had four children.
