Chame ( Nepali चाँमे ) is a village and Village Development Committee in the Annapurna region in Nepal .
Chame is the seat of the district administration of Manang . The place is located on Marsyangdi in the Manang Valley and is a stage of the Annapurna Circuit trekking route . The place is located on the northern flank of the Lamjung Himal mountain in the east of the Annapurna massif .

At the 2011 census, Chame had 1,129 inhabitants (597 of them male) in 279 households.
