The Röthenbach is a tributary of the Staffelsee in Upper Bavaria .

The Röthenbach arises near Uffing am Staffelsee on a molasse rib of the Murnauer Mulde. On the south side of the same it runs largely in the nature reserve Westlicher Staffelsee with bordering moors before it flows into the lake on the northwest side.
