Rúben Micael Freitas da Ressureição (born August 19, 1986 in Câmara de Lobos ) is a Portuguese football player . The midfielder is under contract with FC Paços de Ferreira .
Career
Micael began his career at Estreito before joining the União Madeira youth team in 1997. From there he was brought into the first team in 2004. In its premier season, the club rose to the third highest Portuguese division. He stayed in this league until he was signed by Nacional Funchal at the beginning of the 2008/09 season . He made his debut in the top division on August 24, 2008 against Leixões SC . The game in Matosinhos ended 3-1. He came on for Edson in the 84th minute. He scored his first goal for Nacional on January 11, 2009 in a 3-2 away win against FC Paços de Ferreira . He played a total of 26 games in his first season and scored four goals. Micael scored five more goals, including a double at home against FK Austria Wien .
In January 2010 he moved to FC Porto , where he was immediately active in the UEFA Champions League . Micael played in both round of 16 games against Arsenal , where he was substituted in both games.
