Rüdiger Malter

Rüdiger Malter (born July 11, 1959 in Neunkirchen (Saar) ) is a German administrative lawyer and political official . Since July 4, 2019, he has been State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance of the State of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

After completing his Abitur at the State Gymnasium am Krebsberg in Neunkirchen (Saar) in 1980, Malter began studying law at the Saarland University , which he completed in 1988 with the first state examination in law. He then completed his preparatory service as a trainee lawyer at the Palatinate Higher Regional Court in Zweibrücken with in-depth training in economics and taxation as well as at the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer and the information service provider juris in Saarbrücken . In 1992 he passed the second state examination in law.

In parallel to his preparatory service as a court trainee, Malter worked in a Saarbrücken law firm and, after passing his second state examination in law, worked at the Center de Recherche Public at the University of Luxembourg from July to September 1992 , before becoming a consultant for EU affairs at the Ministry of Economics in October 1992 , Technology and transport of the state of Saxony-Anhalt . In March 1996 he became an authorized signatory at the local transport service Saxony-Anhalt and held this position for the next ten years or so before he became head of the Human Resources, Finances, Organization and Legal Department of the State Office for Construction of the State of Saxony-Anhalt in January 2006 . In July 2008 he returned to the Sachsen-Anhalt local transport service and became its managing director .

On July 4, 2019, Malter was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance of the State of Saxony-Anhalt by the newly appointed Minister of Finance Michael Richter , whom he inherited in this position .
