RAF-Avia is a Latvian charter airline based in Riga and based at Riga Airport .
history
RAF-Avia was founded in 1990 as a subsidiary of the Riga bus factory and is today the company's last active line of business. Founded in 1990, it is considered the first private airline in Latvia. In 1996 it was converted to a public limited company, the majority of which was held by the parent company . In 2012, the RAF-Avia aircraft flew over 4500 hours.
End of August 2016, two cargo aircraft at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport stationed. They are used for short-term cargo flights, for example for the automotive industry and Europe-wide forwarding services.
RAF-Avia cooperates with the Estonian Airest , which also operates cargo flights on the charter principle.
Services
In addition to cargo flights for UPS, DHL , TNT , the United Nations and the Latvian military , RAF Avia also operates passenger charter flights .
