Rabea Edel
Rabea Edel (born July 31, 1982 in Bremerhaven ) is a German writer.
Life
Edel grew up in Cuxhaven . She studied Italian and literature in Berlin and Siena . Her debut novel The Water We Sleep in was published in 2006. She lives as a freelance writer and translator in Berlin and Rome. Her second novel, A Dark Moment , was published in spring 2011 by Luchterhand Literaturverlag. She is a member of the German PEN Center .
