Rachael Louise Axon (born November 9, 1985 in London ) is an English football player .
Career
society
Axon began her career with the women of the AFC Wimbledon before moving to study at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006 , where she played for a year for the local university team of the UAB Blazers . After that, she continued her studies at the Oregon State University continued and played in parallel until 2009 in the summer months for the W-League - Franchise of the Ottawa Fury . Axon only continued her footballing career in 2011 with the Norwegian second division club Avaldsnes IL , for whom she played for three years and with whom she rose to the top series in 2012 . In the second half of 2013, she moved for a short time to the Brazilian first division club Acadêmica Vitória from Vitória de Santo Antão , before returning to Norway the following year and running for Kolbotn IL . For the 2015 season of the NWSL , Axon signed with Houston Dash , the bottom of the year , which she left for Kolbotn after just one year.

Axon was part of various English junior national teams until 2007 and took part in several Nordic Cup events with them.
