Rachel Cuschieri (born April 26, 1992 in San Ġwann ) is a Maltese national soccer player.

Career

Cuschieri started her career at San Gwann FC at the age of five . At the age of 13 she left her hometown club San Gwann and went to FC Birkirkara . There she made her senior debut in 2010 and was Birkirkara's top scorer in the following years . After scoring 79 goals in 65 games in four senior years, she moved to Cyprus for Apollon Limassol . With this contract signature until May 30th 2015, Cuschieri became the first player in Malta to sign a professional contract. She is currently considered one of the best football players on the Mediterranean island of Malta and was named Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
