Rachid Azzedine (* 24. September 1982 in Paris , France ) is a French professional boxer in the lightweight and participants in the 2012 Olympic Games .

Amateur career

The approximately 1.72 m tall left arm trained in the Ring Olympique de Torcy . In 2008 he became French champion with a final victory against Romain Jacob , won a bronze medal at the EU Championships in Władysławowo after a semi-final defeat against Miklós Varga and was eliminated from Leonid Kostylew in the quarter-finals at the European Championships in Liverpool in 2008 .

At the 2010 European Championships in Moscow, he lost to Albert Selimow in the round of 16 . In 2010/11 he boxed for the French team Paris United in the World Series of Boxing and remained unbeaten in eight fights, qualifying for the 2012 Olympic Games in London . At the Olympics, he was eliminated in the preliminary round against José Ramírez .

He also won the Box-Am tournament in Spain in 2006 and 2008 , the Tammer tournament in Finland in 2008 and 2010 , and the Beogradski Pobednik 2012 tournament in Serbia .

Professional career

He won his professional debut on December 7, 2019 by unanimous decision against Alain Sangue.
