Radivoj Tomasevic

Radivoj Tomasevic (born July 21, 1978 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German basketball player of Serbian - Greek descent. The 1.80 meter tall guard played for Bayreuth and Tübingen in the basketball league , the Swiss first division club Geneve Devils and several clubs in the 2nd basketball league . He was a German junior national player.

career

Born in Frankfurt am Main as the son of a Greek and a Serb, Tomasevic initially played football for Eintracht Frankfurt and Offenbacher Kickers and only started playing basketball at the age of 16.

In 1996 he took part in the European Junior Championship with the selection of the German Basketball Federation, where his teammates included Dirk Nowitzki , Robert Maras and Mithat Demirel . He came to the first division club Bayreuth in 1998 via TG Landshut, BG Ludwigsburg and TK Hannover. There Tomasevic played 25 BBL missions in the 1998/99 game year with an average of 11.2 points, 2.4 basket assists and 2.3 rebounds per encounter.

For the 1999/2000 season he returned to Eintracht Frankfurt in the second division, from 2000 to 2002 he also played in the second highest class for TV Langen .
