Cyclist of the Year (Austria)
The cyclists of the year of Austria is since 1995 annually by the Association of Austrian cycling named.

Trainers, officials and journalists are entitled to vote. There is only one category in this election and the women are counted together with the men.
Georg Totschnig from Tyrol has been voted “Cyclist of the Year” four times (1995, 2000, 2004, 2005) and Bernhard Eisel from Styria has already won the title three times (2006, 2010, 2011).
In January 2017 Daniel Federspiel (Eliminator World Champion 2015 and 2016) took over from Junior World Champion Felix Gall and was voted “Cyclist of the Year 2016”.
