Rafet el Roman
Rafet el Roman (born August 25, 1968 in Havsa , Edirne , Turkey ; formerly Rafet Yaşdut ) is a Turkish pop musician . He lives in Reinheim .
Live and act
When his parents moved to Germany as guest workers in 1970 , Rafet initially stayed with his grandmother in the village of Ömerbey in Uzunköprü and was brought to Germany by his parents when he was seven. At the age of 16 he was already composing his first songs and writing his first texts.
Having to be at Midnight Entertainment 1,984 Statist had advertised his began career as an actor. In 1987 he played the lead role in the film "Defender". He learned a lot about camera work and dramaturgy and sometimes directed some of his action scenes himself. It showed his very versatile talent, which later helped him to produce his own video clips.
In 1992 he received the prize for the best young artist from Saarländischer Rundfunk Radio and two years later the Media Artist Award at the Frankfurt Culture Festival. In 1995 he went to Turkey to record his first solo album.
In addition to his music career, he also repeatedly focuses on acting. In 1999 he played the lead role in the Turkish film Propaganda, alongside great actors such as Kemal Sunal and Metin Akpınar . The next film Dar alanda kısa paslasmalar with Müjde Ar followed a year later .
In 2000 he founded his own record company called "RER Müzik".
Rafet el Roman is married and has three children.
