Ragıp Başdağ (born June 9, 1978 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish football player .
Başdağ played for Trabzonspor in his youth . There he was appointed to the first team in 1997. However, he came only to two missions in the 1997/98 season . Trabzonspor decided to loan him out for a year so that he should get more match practice, so Başdağ went to Orduspor . At Orduspor he played as a regular in midfield. The next season he switched again on loan and played for Mersin İdman Yurdu . Trabzonspor no longer planned with Başdağ, which is why his contract was terminated. He then moved to Akçaabat Sebatspor on a free transfer .
For Akçaabat, Başdağ played as a regular for three years. In June 2003 he was suspended for six months for doping . He then moved to Sakaryaspor and in 2005 he was committed to Kayserispor .
At Kayserispor, Başdağ played his most successful time in a club to date. He made his first games in the UI Cup and UEFA Cup . By winning the Turkish Cup in the 2007/08 season , he won his first title with Kayserispor. In the second half of the 08/09 season, Kayserispor separated from Ragıp Başdağ. For the 2009/10 season he moved to Eskişehirspor . For the 2010/11 season he moved to Denizlispor .
After just one season at Denizlispor, he moved within the league to Kayseri Erciyesspor . At the end of the season he reached the championship of the TFF 1st Lig with Erciyesspor and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig . After this success he left Erciyesspor in summer 2013 and joined Ankaraspor . With the club, which was renamed Osmanlıspor FK in the summer of 2014 , he became runner-up at the end of the 2014/15 season and rose to the Süper Lig.
